PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple apparatus capable of simply and efficiently measuring air pollutants with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A suction means 1 using two hollow containers is connected to a nitrogen dioxide collecting means 3 through a connection tube 2 and opened to the atmosphere through a dust filter 4. The suction means 1 is constituted of a first container 11 filled with a predetermined amount of water, a second container 12 empty in an initial stage, the tube 13 connected to the bottom parts of both containers and a flow controller 14 provided to the tube 13 and the atmosphere is sucked in the dust filter 4 and the nitrogen dioxide collecting means 3 by regulating the opening degree of the flow controller 14 and the relative height of the first and second containers 11, 12. A predetermined color developing absorbing solution is housed in the nitrogen dioxide collecting means 3 and the atmosphere or exhaust gas sucked by the suction means 1 is introduced into the nitrogen dioxide collecting means and passed through the color developing absorbing solution to develop a color.
