PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel by which a lens can be positioned highly accurately and held the same as a lens holding member having an accurate size positions and holds the lens, even for a lens-holding member having an inaccurate size, and by which the lens-holding member can be used without being thrown away. SOLUTION: This lens barrel has a reference frame member and the lens- holding member on a side, where a lens member is held, a reference part on a reference frame member side at the engaging part of the reference frame member and the lens-holding member and the lens-holding part on a lens-holding member side can rotate with each other, and the reference frame member is fitted to the lens-holding member without a gap in a radiating direction at a surface where optical axes orthogonally cross in a first mutual angular position relation centering the optical axis, and the reference frame member and the lens-holding member are formed, with the gap in the radial direction at the surface where the optical axes orthogonally cross in a second mutual angular position relation.
