PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device in which the pull-out of a recording medium is avoided during the access of a camera device body and the recording medium and incomplete information transmission is prevented and whose constitution is simple. SOLUTION: This camera device has an image pickup means to convert the image information of an object into an electric signal and a recording means to record the electric signal converted at the recording medium attachable/ detachable to/from a main body, it is provided with a cover means 6 covering at least a pull-out means 5 to pull out the recording medium 3.
