PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a pipe 4 for a winding crown of a watch frame 1 combined with a back lid having a winding crown hole for brazing the pipe 4 for the winding crown so as to have superior contact strength and air-tightness without metalizing. SOLUTION: The watch frame 1 is formed with a sintered body constituted of a hard layer consisting of titanium carbide and a combined layer of metal including nickel. By providing the inner surface of the winding crown hole 3 for fixing the pipe 4 for the winding crown with nickel deposition layer, the watch frame 1 having superior contact strength and air-tightness can be obtained without metalizing.
