PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a housing frame of a flexible structure in order to attain a light-weight unit and improve the portability while maintaining high accuracy in attaching to a photographic printer, and to make the housing frame flexible along a rail member by placing the housing frame on the rail member fixed to the photographic printer while taking the surface of a photosensitive material as a reference, in an optical unit with the housing frame which is attachably/detachably attached to the photographic printer provided with a function of printing a film image on the photosensitive material surface, and provided with a video image printing lens on the housing frame. SOLUTION: A mirror which is made movable between a 1st position above an opening part 72d where a luminous flux from a video image printing lens is reflected toward the photosensitive material surface so as to enable printing the video image and a 2nd position retreated from the 1st position for allowing to print a film image is arranged on the housing frame 15, and notched parts 71f and 71f are formed in wall parts 71g and 71g extending along the mirror traveling path on both sides of an opening part 71h of the housing frame 15.
