<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the plotting processing, to make the representation of an image multicolored and also to smoothly represent the movement of a character. SOLUTION: An image processing means 2 composites background image data 3d composed of a movie image and character data 4d composed of a stereoscopic image by polygon data and gives the composited data to a display 6. An image 60 obtained by compositing a background image 3 and a character 4 is shown on the display 6. A simple model 5d composed of three-dimensional data for judging a priority in hidden surface elimination with the data 4d is set in a part of the data 3d. The means 2 judges a part where the character 4 is hidden by the background 3 on the basis of the simple model and performs image elimination. According to the elimination, it is possible to represent an image in a three-dimensional manner. It is further possible to generate a display an image obtained by combining music reproduction and object movement with a smaller amount of operation without depending on complicated control.</p> |
