PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly obtain a picture having a stable density without unnecessary consumption of developer when restarting the image forming operation after stopping it. SOLUTION: The latest time of image formation is stored in a memory 20 provided in the image forming device main body, and image forming processing is started after a development sleeve 4a and a developer supply roll 4b are driven for a prescribed time in accordance with the length of the time calculated by the difference between this stored time and the present time. Toner of which the charge amount is reduced by leaving the toner till reception of a next image forming processing instruction after the end of preceding image forming processing is charged by the development sleeve 4a and the developer supply roll 4b if necessary, and thus an image having a stable density is obtained without unnecessary toner consumption. |
