PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the wet type developing device for a platemakar constituted so that the photosensitive surface of a master sheet is not brought into contact with the lower surface of a developer nozzle even in the case of the curled master sheet whose curling inclination is strong. SOLUTION: This wet type developing device for the platemaker is constituted so that the developer nozzle 14 spraying developer is arranged on an inclined developing pallet 11 guiding and feeding the master sheet X and the sheet X is fed between the pallet 11 and the nozzle 13 by the rotational movement of developing part entrance rollers 33. Then, a horizontal supporting shaft 37 being in parallel with the rollers 33 is arranged so as to support a press-down weight 39 pressed downward by gravity. Besides, the weight 39 positioned between the rollers 33 and the nozzle 13 is brought into elastic contact with the sheet X.
