PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect reduction of a supply voltage for operation maintenance of other loads at a proper detection point to continue charging of a strobe device up to a limit allowable for operation maintenance of other loads while maintaining operations of other loads. SOLUTION: The supply voltage of a power source is detected at the detection point set nearer to the power source than the strobe device and other loads, nearer to other loads than the power source and the strobe device, or in a feed line from a voltage regulator to other loads, and the turning-on/off of current supply to a boosting circuit in the period of a periodic oscillation boosting of the boosting circuit is controlled based on the detection output.
