PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance fire extinguishing capacity, to reduce a radiation quantity, to reduce damage of flood damage, to reduce capacity of a pump, and to reduce a cost in a water sprinkling nozzle for extinguishment. SOLUTION: When sprinkling a fire extinguishing liquid or water for extinguishing fires from a water sprinkling nozzle 1 for extinguishment at fire time, a sprinkling pattern for intensively sprinkling water on a specific part in a prescribed protective range is formed of a slit 10 of a nozzle part 8, a driving part 6 is driven by a water flow at water sprinkling time, a speed is reduced by a speed reduction part 7, the nozzle part 8 is rotated, the sprinkling pattern is scanned, and water is sprinkled on the whole protective range area. The speed reduction part is housed inside the driving part to prevent the speed reduction part from becoming nonoperable by mixing of refuse.
