<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fine movement control of a cursor on a display screen. SOLUTION: An operation pad 2 is a plate, provided with a projection part 3 on a lower surface center part and is supported in parallel with a keyboard surface by a holding mechanism part 4. When the operation pad part 2 is depressed lightly by a user, the holding mechanism part 4 is bent and the projection part 3 is brought into contact with a touch sensor pad part 1 provided on the keyboard surface. When the operation pad part 2 is moved in parallel with the keyboard surface, the cursor on the display screen is moved on a track exactly as in the moving track of the operation pad part 2. When the user releases the pressing of the operation pad part 2, an original shape indicated in the figure 1 is restored by the elasticity of the holding mechanism part 4. Since only the tip of the projection part 3 is brought into contact with the touch sensor pad part 1, the fine movement control for the cursor and prevention of unintended movements can be made.</p> |
