PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear slide variable resistor which has a structure wherein a slide member receiver can be fixed to an operation shaft in simple work and assembling is easy. SOLUTION: Bearings 12, 13 having U-shaped recessed parts 15 and a pair of snap legs 11a, 11b are arranged on the side facing an operation shaft 4 of a slide receiver 7. The operation shaft 4 is pushed into the recessed parts 15 and pinched with the snap legs 11a, 11b and the slide receiver 7 is fixed to the operation shaft 4.
