PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor post capable of increasing the strength thereof against a compressive load over the strength of the material thereof by using the combination of the materials having different rigidities. SOLUTION: This floor post A comprises a base 1 installed on a receiving face, a lifting body 4 allowing the adjustment of a lifting by allowing a male thread 3 to be threaded by engaged with a female thread 2 provided in the base 1, a lock nut 5 screw engaged with the male thread 4 of the lifting boy 4, and a sleeper 6 supported rotatably on the upper side of the lifting body 4, all formed of synthetic resin. The base 1 and the lifting body 4 are formed of the lock nut 5 and a material having a rigidity higher than that of the sleeper 6.
