PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding machine capable of uniformly pressurizing a material to be press molded and flattening its surface. SOLUTION: A cavity 16 for containing a laminate 22 of the material to be press molded is formed of an upper mold 10, a lower mold 12 and side molds 14. The pressurizing pad 30 of the mold 10 has a steel sheet 40 contacted with the laminate 22, and a relatively flexible rubber plate 38 adhered to the back surface of the sheet 40 of two layers. Even when the parallelism of the surfaces of the laminate 22 and the surface of the mold 10 to be contacted with the laminate 22 are deviated, the deviation is absorbed by the rubber layer, and can be uniformly pressurized. The surface of the laminate 22 can be flattened similarly to that of the sheet 40. |
