PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof greening mat containing plant-growing soil in the mat in a state causing little loss of the soil by running water such as rainwater. SOLUTION: The objective roof greening mat A is provided with spaces capable of holding plant-growing soil in a state causing little loss of the soil by running water such as rainwater. The mat contains a number of continuous filaments 15a made of a thermoplastic resin polymer, irregularly or regularly bending in horizontal or thickness direction while crossing with each other, having a diameter of 0.1-5 mm and extending from one end to the other end of the mat. The mat is composed of a steric net structure 15 formed by welding the numeral continuous filaments 15a at the crossing points and a flexible net member 14 attached to the front or back face of the steric net structure 15. The net member 14 and the steric net structure 15 are integrated together by winding the longitudinal string and/or the lateral string constituting the net member 14 with the continuous filaments 15a.
