<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a belt regardless of forward/backward traveling in the case where a reverse advancing range is shifted on traveling, prevent rapid inversion of the belt, reduce costs of parts, and improve a space efficiency, in the belt control method for a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: Clutches are disposed on a front stage and/or a back stage of a shift part, and connection/disconnection of power is performed in the fore- and aft direction of the shift part by the clutches.</p> |
