<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce desulfurized wastewater to be produced by a desulfurization device and thereby dispense with the desulfurization and wastewater treatment by using the desulfurized wastewater separated from the desulfurization device as a slurrying agent of an alkali neutralizer. SOLUTION: Nitrogen oxides are removed from an exhaust gas EG generated when a high sulfur-containing fuel is burned in a boiler 1, by means of a denitration device 2 and then dust is removed from the exhaust gas EG by an electrostatic precipitator 4. Further, a sulfur oxide contained in the exhaust gas EG is neutralizes by a slurrylike alkali neutralizer NR at a desulfurization device 5 and this neutralized produce is separated/recovered as gypsum using a gypsum recovery device 7. In this flue gas desulfurization method, the desulfurized wastewater WW separated by the gypsum recovery device 7 is used as the slurrying agent of the alkali neutralizer NR.</p> |
