USB SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING USB LOADED MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal serial bus(USB) system and a method for identifying USB loaded materials for identifying two or more USB loaded materials connected with a USB being a bus for communication control to be used for connecting a computer with peripheral equipment. SOLUTION: In this USB system, two USB function devices 4a and 4b connected by a USB 1 through a USB hub 3 with a USB host device 2 which controls the USB 1, are respectively provided with display parts 5a and 5b for displaying their own identification addresses. Then, a request for material identification is transmitted from the USB host device 2 so that the display parts 5a and 5b of the USB function devices 4a and 4b can display information such as their own identification addresses, and that the USB function devices 4a and 4b can be visually identified.
