PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic traveling setting device simplifying shifting operation from the manual traveling of an automatic traveling vehicle to the automatic traveling of the vehicle and eliminating the need for much preparation time in the case of shifting the manual traveling to the automatic traveling. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a guide line for detecting the existence of a golf cart 11 on a guide passage, guide sensors 32a, 32b, a controller 26, a lamp 42 for displaying the existence of the guide passage, when the sensors 32a, 32b detect the existence of the golf cart 11 on the guide passage, a brake switch 27, and a start/stop switch 41. When the golf cart 11 is traveled by manual operation so as to cross the guide passage, the sensors 32a, 32b detect the existence of the automatic traveling vehicle on the guide passage and the lamp 42 displays the existence of the guide passage. When the lamp 42 displays the guide passage, the controller 26 automatically sets up the start of automatic traveling.
