PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting-up device for a display device which is easily attached to a ceiling or the like and can freely set a display device at any angle and is most suitable for a plane display device. SOLUTION: The setting-up device is comprised of a tilt part and display attaching metal fittings 6, and the tilt part is formed of a pair of cylindrical metal fittings 4, which projects to the right and left sides of setting-up metal fittings 3 and have guide pins 4a stood on the upper faces, and retaining members 7 which have retaining parts 7a, which are freely turnably retained in cylindrical metal fittings 4 and have approximately arcuate sections, and long holes 7b which are formed in retaining parts 7a and are to be engaged with the guide pins. Display attaching metal fittings 6 are attached to the rear face of a display device 1 and are provided with detaining members 7 in the right and the left of the rear face. Setting-up metal fitting 3 are attached to a ceiling or the like by a suspending member 2, and restaint parts 7a are retained in cylindrical metal fittings 4 to not only support the weight of the display device 1 but also set the angle.
