PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily materialize a linking function by a conventional programmable controller system which does not include exclusive hardware for materializing a PC-linking function. SOLUTION: In this data liking method for programmable controller for receiving and processing a command for writing and reading out data in/from a register area to be used for a user, a programmable controller PLC1 to be a master station successively issues register reading commands to other programmable controllers PLC2 to PLC5 to collect the contents of the register areas of he controllers PLC2 to PLC5 to the controller PLC1.
