PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collect-call connection system of a public telephone switching network which can make an automatic connection without any trouble in a language and a voice and to provide a communication terminal which can automatically answer to a collect call without attendance of receiving-side operator. SOLUTION: In a public telephone switching network wire caller telephone number notification service, and exchange adds a code indicating that a collect- call request is made to the caller number identification information of a calling telephone number notification service means when receiving collect call request dialing from a caller side. The communication terminal detects the caller telephone number, judges whether or not the collector call request is made from the received caller number identification information, and informs the user of the detected collect call request information. Further, a setting as to whether or not the terminal automatically receives and answers for the collect call request can be made.
