Light sensitive direct positive photographic material - with steep gradation for silver salt diffusion process

Material consists of (a) sheet-form base; (b) a 0.5 - 3 mu thick gelatin (seed) layer contg. developer seeds and 5-25 g. blue toner (based on amt. of seeds corresponding to 1 g. Ag); (c) an intermediate layer of hardened gelatine having a thickness of from 1/3 to 3 x thickness of (b); and (d) an unhardened light-sensitive silver halide-gelatine emulsion layer contg. silver halide mixed crystals with 10-40 mol.% AbBr and 90 - 60 mol.% AgCl as well as short-chain hardening-retarding amino compounds and having pH value of 3.5-4.5.
