<p>Pre-fabricated expanded clay light building elements pref. provided with heating conductors and/or cooling pipes, for walls of heated or cooled buildings is made by direct process in which raw material whic hepxands naturally or by addition of blowing agents and which has utmost natural tendency to agglomerate, or tendency of which to agglomerate is induced or enhanced by fluxing agents, is filled into heat-resistant moulds which can be sealed on all sides and heated to desired degree of expansion. The individual raw material grains agglomerate to fill the mould with a homogeneous expanded clay mass. Adhesion of mould and expanded clay is prevented by coating mould walls with a material which does not stick to mould at temps. used.</p> |
