PURPOSE: Provided are an isonucleoside compound of the formula(I) having antiviral and anti cancer activities, its diastereomer and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. Also, its manufacturing method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The isonucleoside compound is represented by the formula(I), wherein R and R1 are the same or different and represent acetonide, benzyl or benzoyl; and R2 is hydrogen, fluoro group or iodine group; B is purine or pyrimidine represented by the formula(II) to (V). In the formulae(II) to (V), X is N or C-R4, R3 is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl group, R4 is hydrogen or 1-4 alkyl group, amino group, bromo group, fluoro group, chloro group or iodine group.
