The invention concerns a cross-anchor railway bogie (10). The bogie (10) has generally U-shaped sub-frames (28) which are connected to axleboxes (18) of the bogie. The sub-frames are themselves interconnected by cross-anchors (30) lying substantially on the bogie diagonals (36). The cross-anchors (30) are connected to the U-shaped sub-frames (28) at connections (58) lying substantially in the plane (60) of the bogie axles (24), whereby the cross-anchors themselves lie substantially in that plane. |
