<p>The brake has a brake operating lever (3) attached to the manoeuvring handle of the cleaner. The brake lever is operated from one end (3b) while the other end (3c) can oscillate about a pivot. This end is attached to the internal wire (6) of a Bowden cable (5) connected to the brake. The sleeve (8) of a second Bowden cable that operates the accelerator is attached (4a) to the end of the brake lever, beyond the attachment for the brake cable. The accelerator control lever (10) is mounted on a pivot so it can oscillate in the same sense as the oscillation of the brake lever. The internal wire (11) of the accelerator Bowden cable is attached to the accelerator lever. The displacement of the internal wire of the accelerator cable is less than the displacement of the sleeve of the accelerator cable when the brake lever is operated, allowing the accelerator to close.</p> |
