<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blowing-up at fine weather time, prevent reduction in a carry even to rainy weather time and a miss shot, and totally lengthen a carry by forming markings so that intervals between the markings widen in order to an upper part from a lower part of a face surface. SOLUTION: Recess-shaped markings 3 composed of plural score lines 3a are formed almost in parallel to an installing surface of a club head 1 on a face surface 2 of the club head 1. The markings 3 are formed so that its intervals (h) widen in order toward an upper part 2b from a lower part 2a of the face surface 2. In this way, since the intervals (h) of the markings 3 are changed so as to continuously widen, a sudden change in a carry by a change in a ball hitting position can be restrained. A blowing-up ball when a ball is hit by the upper vicinity from the center of the face surface 2 is eliminated, and a carry can be totally lengthened even in rainy weather time and a miss shot.</p> |
