<p>PURPOSE:To provide an emergency gas generator capable of easily obtaining the desired pressure rising rate of blowoff gas and suitable for mass production. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed cylindrical case 1 is integrally molded. The inner diameter of the case 1 on the side of the bottom plate 3 thereof is made smaller than that of the mouth part 6 thereof and one stepped part 7 is provided to the body wall of the case 1. A part 5 thinner than the body wall 4 is provided to the bottom plate 3 and the case 1 is filled with a gas burning and generating agent 2. The other stepped part 12 is formed to the periphery of a squib 8 to be equipped with an O-ring 14 and the squip 8 is inserted in the case 1. The O-ring 14 is pressed between one stepped part 7 and the other stepped part 12 to hermetically seal the gas burning and generating agent 2 and the edge part of the mouth part 6 is caulked to fix the squib 8 to the case 1.</p> |
