Described is a cultivating apparatus for supplying nourishment and water roots of a plant (30). The plant is contacted directly with the surfaces the apparatus (10) which is composed of finely porous box bodies (12, 13). On the bottom surface of the microporous box (12), nearly square projections 14 are laid out in a grid pattern at a predetermined pitch. Furthermore, roughly L-shaped ribs 15 project at the opposite corners at the fringe of the opening portion. A notch portion 16 is formed on one side of the fringe. |
