PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal equipment that surely identifies facsimile reception from a specific destination so as to conduct delayed delivery or direct reception. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of an incoming call through a line serving the caller telephone number notice service, the facsimile terminal equipment starts a reception task (RX task), makes a primary reply to acquire a caller telephone number received via the line, stores it to a RAM and starts usual facsimile reception. When the RAM stores a delayed delivery excusive number coincident with the received caller telephone number, the facsimile terminal equipment conducts proxy reception to sequentially store facsimile received image data to the RAM. When the RAM stores no coincident proxy reception exclusive number, the facsimile terminal equipment starts a print task to conduct direct reception processing to allow a plotter to print out the received image data (steps S11-S14).
