PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic combustor in which catalytic combustion can be sustained stably with high output at high efficiency. SOLUTION: A gap is prevented from being generated between a catalytic plate 22 and a frame 30 by holding them individually and employing a gasket 50 expanding upon exposure to high temperature. Generation of a gap between the frames can also be prevented by means of the thermal expansion gasket 50 when a seal hole 35 is provided. Consequently, unburnt gas can be prevented from being discharged through the gap to cause various troubles even when a large number of catalytic plates are provided in order to ensure a high output through catalytic combustion. According to the invention, a high output catalytic combustor ensuring stabilized clean combustion utilizing merits of catalytic combustion can be provided.
