PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where the lifetime of a semiconductor is shortened more than a warranty period by the fact that a semiconductor manufacturer uses a semiconductor integrated circuit which exceeds an unforeseeable warranty environmental temperature, thereby generating unforeseeable product failures. SOLUTION: A safeguard means comprises a temperature detector for measuring periodically a peripheral temperature, an operating device for storing the detection temperature in a nonvolatile memory device as '+1' if it is within the standard range, and as '+2' if it exceeds the standard range; and an output device for alarming when a storing count value exceeds a predetermined setting value.
