PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter for satellite reception that uses one antenna to receive BS and CS broadcast programs and allows a receiving end to received both the BS and CS broadcast programs at the same time. SOLUTION: The satellite reception converter has a 1st input section 3 that receives a CS left hand rotatory circular polarization signal and a 2nd input section 4 that receives a CS right hand rotatory circular polarization signal and a BS signal, the CS right hand rotatory circular polarization signal and the BS signal are separated and the BS signal can always be outputted from an output terminal 7, and a changeover device 6 selects the CS left hand rotatory circular polarization signal and the CS right hand rotatory circular polarization signal and the selected signal is outputted from the output terminal 7.
