<p>A system is provided for interfacing telecommunication devices. The system includes a mobile unit for transmitting and receiving signals at an ISM-band frequency. The system further includes a base unit for transmitting signals to and receiving signals from the mobile unit. The base unit also connects to a landline. The system also includes an interface protocol associated with the mobile unit and the base unit. The interface protocol includes a plurality of consecutive frames. Each frame has a master sub-frame for transmitting signals from the mobile unit to the base unit. Each frame also has a slave sub-frame for transmitting signals from the base unit to the mobile unit. Thus, the plurality of consecutive frames includes alternating master sub-frames and slave sub-frames.</p> |
