<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eraser for a coordinate input device which can use a plurality of erasure ranges differently with a natural feeling of use despile its simple configuration and which is excellent in operation efficiency. SOLUTION: The upper part of the eraser 40 is covered with an outer case 41, coils LA, LB, LC and LD are provided at four corners A to D inside, respectively, and a button battery 43 and a circuit board 42 are provided at the central part. An inner case 44 holding an erasure pad 45 is provided at a lower part while being supported by a spring 49 in a rockable way, and switches SWA, SWB, SWC and SWD at four corners are turned on in accordance with a position where the pad 45 comes into contact. One or two coils L among the coils LA, LB, LC and LD transmit a signal at a prescribed period in accordance with a switch SW turned on. A writing panel 10 provided with a loop coil 23 magnetically coupled to the coils L receives a signal of the eraser 40, detect an erasure position and an erasure area, and erases recorded electronic data.</p> |
