PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer device that can be switched to 24-hour count operation from date count operation, when the date of specifications is exceeded. SOLUTION: This timer device is equipped with an oscillator 2, an oscillation circuit 3, and a dividing circuit 4 that count date and time, a display part 11 that can indicate date and time, and a clock operation control part 12 that stores the upper limit value of the date, compares the date and the stored upper limit value, and stops the display of the date to the display part 11 for changing to the display of merely the time, when it is judged that the date reaches the upper limit value according to the result of comparison, thus achieving the timer device that operates as the state of a 24-hour clock, even if the date of the specifications is exceeded.
