Vulcanisable epoxy rubbers - made by copolymerisation of propylene oxide, phenyl glycidyl ethers and unsaturated epoxides

Vulcanisable rubbery copolymers of (a) propylene oxide, (B) one or more phenylglycidyl ethers with phenyl opt. substd. by either a halogen atom and/or an alkyl gp. with =3C, or a monohaloalkyl gp. with =3 C (esp. phenylglycidyl ether), and (C) one or more unsatd. epoxides (esp. allylglycidyl ether), using 10-70 mol.% (B) and 0.5-20 mol.% (C) on total cyclic ethers. Products can be vulcanised with sulphur-contg. systems, giving rubbers with good chemical resistance and mechanical properties.
