PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily evaluated the quality of an image (image quality) formed by an image forming device with high accuracy without the need for the large- scale system. SOLUTION: The image quality evaluation system has a densitometer 1 that measures a density of an evaluation pattern (hard copy) outputted from the image forming device 100 being an evaluation object as color information, and an image quality evaluation section 2 that evaluates the image quality of an image from the image forming device 100 being the evaluation object on the basis of the color information (density value) obtained as a result of the measurement by the densitometer 1 and of the color information (density value) of a reference evaluation pattern (an evaluation pattern with no deterioration or assumed to have no deterioration). |
