PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-spectral image recording/processing unit and a multi- spectral image recording/processing method that can obtain a spectral reflectance distribution of an object corresponding to a desired image reproduction condition by taking luster and brilliance or the like on the basis of a difference of a surface shape of the object such as an original image into account and generate a reproduced image in matching with colors when the image of the object is picked up under an assumed image reproduction condition on the basis of the obtained distribution. SOLUTION: A light source emits a light to the object supported in an object image pickup recording area of an object support section in a desired azimuth on the basis of a prescribed position of the object image pickup recording area, a plurality of multi-band images picked up by an image pickup means from the desired azimuth is acquired by changing the position of the light source and the image pickup position so as to obtain a deflection angle multi-spectral image of the spectral reflectance distribution by using the light source position and the image pickup position for parameters and the spectral reflectance distribution of the object is estimated under a desired image reproduction condition on the basis the deflection angle multi-spectral image to solve the task above. |
