<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall recessed type air conditioner having a thickness thinner than a conventional machine by a method wherein the arrangement of an indoor side heat exchanger is investigated from the view point of appearance when the machine is installed on a wall or the view point of receiving the same into a thin wall. SOLUTION: An wall recessed type air conditioner is equipped with a suction port 216, provided on the indoor side front surface of a main body, a centrifugal fan 207, arranged in the main body 201 so as to be opposed to the suction port 216 while facing the rotating shaft of the same to the front surface of the main body, an indoor side heat exchanger 202, arranged in an ventilating passage formed in the radial direction of the centrifugal fan 207, a double-shaft motor 205, driving the centrifugal fan 207 by an output shaft of one side, a propeller fan 206, driven by the other output shaft of the double-shaft motor, and an outdoor side heat exchanger 203, effecting heat exchange between air stream generated by the propeller fan 206.</p> |
