PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device for press-development in which the carrying amount of the developer and charge amount are proper for development and an image without irregular density can be stably formed. SOLUTION: In the developing device of a press-developing system, the developer carrying body has a structure of an elastic layer and a tube concentrically formed around a shaft. The abrasion resistance of the tube is specified to <=700 mg in the abrasion test by JIS-K7311. The product of the modulus of longitudinal elasticity E and thickness(t) of the tube is <=12,000. The modulus of longitudinal elasticity E of the tube is controlled to a proper range. |
