PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging controller of a set-battery that can sufficiently and uniformly charge each secondary battery without any over-charging not depending on fluctuation of internal resistance of the secondary battery forming a set battery and fluctuation of battery temperature. SOLUTION: This charging controller of a set battery comprises a battery voltage detecting means 6 for detecting a battery voltage of individual secondary batteries 1a to 1m, temperature detecting means 7a to 7m for detecting temperature of individual secondary batteries 1a to 1m, an internal resistance calculating means for calculating an internal resistance of individual secondary batteries 1a to 1m, a charging current adjusting means 4 for adjusting the charging current of the secondary batteries 1a to 1m connected in series, charging current bypassing means 5a to 5m connected in parallel to the series connected individual secondary batteries 1a to 1m for bypassing the charging current, and a control means 3 for controlling the charging current or the like.
