摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a panel in size by eliminating a pre-charge circuit from a liquid crystal display panel, to eliminate unevenness of the panel caused by pre-charge so as to display a uniform image on the whole panel, and to improve a yield as a whole. SOLUTION: A driving circuit for driving a liquid crystal display device is characterized so that a video signal generating block generating a video signal to be applied to a panel is configured by sequentially connecting an ADC circuit for A-D converting an image signal for a panel of each color of R, G, B, two memory having a capacity permitting to hold a row of signals for the panel, a V-T correcting circuit for correcting non-linearity of transmission light intensity to an input voltage of the panel, a polarity inversion circuit for AC-driving liquid crystal pixels of the panel, a DAC circuit for D-A converting a digital signal outputted by the polarity inversion circuit, and an output selecting circuit for selecting a pre-charge voltage to the panel, and the output selecting circuit displays an analog signal of the DAC circuit in the 1st half of a horizontal period of the image signal, and pre-charges the panel in the 2nd half period.
