PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-off switch that can avoid occurrence of malfunction due to carelessly making contact with an operating piece, by the operating piece so as not to protrude from a front face of a base body in swiveling. SOLUTION: A shaft 6 is mounted to a base 1 and an operating piece 3 which swivels about the shaft 6 by a pressing operation is mounted to be exposed from a front face 2 of the base 1 to be not protruded over the front face, taper shaped concave portions 5 are formed on the front face 2 of the base 1 adjacently to both sides of the operating piece 3, an upper face 7, 8 of the operating piece 3 is formed in the shape of taper.
