PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery, which permits expansion/ shrinkage of elements caused by repeated charging and discharging, has a relieved internal pressure rise, and prevents separation of a laminated layer from a current collector, so that deterioration in cycle characteristic, particularly deterioration at high temperature, is suppressed. SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolyte battery of the invention includes a wound body in which a belt-shaped positive electrode, a belt-shaped negative electrode ad belt-shaped separator were wound around a center pin using it as a winding axis in a laminated condition; a tubular battery case serving to receive the wound body and having a bottom; and a non-aqueous electrolyte contained in the battery case. The center pin is made of a material having a melting point of 350 deg.C or less. |
