PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently evaporate liquid fuel by injecting the proper amount of the liquid fuel according to the demand in a fuel cell. SOLUTION: It is a fuel evaporator 1 in a fuel cell system FCS having an evaporating room for evaporating the liquid fuel with a heat medium gas. It comprises a fuel injection unit 40 for injecting the original liquid fuel into the evaporating room and an injection amount control unit 42 for controlling an injection amount of the original fuel injection unit in the fuel evaporator. The injection amount control unit 42 is provided with an injection amount control part setting the original fuel injection amount using an injection amount target setting signal.
