PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp mechanism for a disk storage device which prevents deterioration in positioning precision by suppressing a rotational synchronous vibration of a disk storage medium due to the waving of the disk storage medium and reduces a head crush phenomenon by suppressing variation in the floating quantity of a head over the disk storage medium. SOLUTION: Magnetic storage media 3a and 3b, a spacer ring 4, and a clamp ring 5 are stack on a spindle motor 2 fitted to a base part 1, and the clamp ring 5 is fixed to the spindle motor 2 with a fixing screw 6 to fix the magnetic storage media 3a and 3b and spacer ring 4 to the spindle motor 2. A through hole part or non-through hole part is formed at the circumferential-directional center point between adjacent screw hole parts of the clamp ring 5.
