PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head suspension which can position a magnetic head slider with high accuracy by elevating a resonance point in the seek direction. SOLUTION: This head suspension includes a flat plate type load beam, a gimbal which is formed integrally with the load beam and has a slider mount part, and a reinforcing plate which is joined with the load beam. The reinforcing plate has a pivot abutting against the slider mount part of the gimbal and a 1st and a 2nd opening formed adjacently to the pivot across the pivot along the length of the reinforcing plate. The reverse surface of the slider mount part is partially visible through the 1st and 2nd openings.
