PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing device which an store a large quantity of disks and enables a disk to easily be taken out. SOLUTION: Many engaging grooves 15 in which only one disk D can get into, are formed on a couple of front and rear disk receptacles 14 at short intervals. Consequently, many disks D can be stored in high density. A moving body 19 which moves outside the disk group is provided with a rotary arm 33 which pushes up a disk D faceup. When the arm 33 is rotated by driving a 2nd motor 34 after the moving body 19 is moved to a desirable engaging groove 15 by a 1st motor 25, the target disk D is pushed up above other disks. Consequently, the disk D can easily be extracted. The disk D can accurately be got into a target guide groove 41 by a guide body 40 provided on the moving body 19.
